Smith Rock was one of them.

By the time the first light of morning began to spread across Central Oregon, the massive cliffs of the park slowly emerged from the darkness. The rising sun touched the ancient rock walls with a warm, golden glow, illuminating their dramatic textures and revealing the scale of the landscape one layer at a time.

For a brief moment, everything felt still. No crowds. No distractions. Just the quiet of the early morning and the first light of day transforming one of Oregon’s most iconic landscapes.
