Description
There is something extraordinary about the stillness of an early fall morning in Grand Teton National Park. As the first light reached across the valley, Mount Moran rose above the landscape while the calm Snake River reflected the mountain below. Along the riverbanks, hints of gold signaled the first arrival of autumn and the fading days of summer. For a few fleeting moments, everything seemed perfectly balanced. A towering mountain above, its reflection below, and a changing season unfolding between them. Immense and dramatic, yet in the quiet light of dawn, the Tetons can also feel remarkably peaceful.
