Description
Some photographs become more meaningful with time. Reaching Oneonta Falls once meant stepping into Oneonta Creek and following the water deep into a narrow gorge surrounded by towering walls of moss and greenery. Years later, this image carries a different meaning after wildfire changed the Columbia River Gorge and access to this place. It reminds me how fortunate I was to experience it when I did, and that the landscapes we photograph are never guaranteed to remain as we remember them. Somewhere deep within the gorge, Oneonta Falls continues to flow, and I hope someday I will have the opportunity to see it again.

Framed prints are offered for both acrylic and metal prints of all sizes. The frames we offer are 1.5” in width (1.5” on each side), and are available in black or brown.
