Description
Sometimes the most interesting subjects along Maui’s coastline are found in the details. Emerging from the sand, an old twisted branch reaches toward the sky, weathered and shaped by years beside the Pacific. Shortly after sunrise, warm side light revealed every curve and texture in the wood while waves washed gently onto the shore behind it. Puffy clouds drifted across a brilliant blue sky, completing a scene that felt unmistakably Maui. No sweeping sunset or towering palms were needed. Just morning light, moving water, and a weathered piece of the coastline transformed into something beautiful.
